Problem Note 47837: An error message occurs when a column with character values of more than 2000 characters is inserted into the Greenplum database

Using SAS® software to create a Greenplum table or to insert data into a Greenplum table might result in an error in Greenplum. The problem occurs if a column length is more than 2000 characters. The following error message might appear:
ERROR: The character variable YOUR_COL has too long a value for the GPDB library.
